These days, there is abundant support for environmental awareness to "Go Green" but what about our support for spiritual awareness? Should we not be placing a greater emphasis our developing our personal relationship with Christ?

It's safe to say, we have all benefited from our Christian Faith and our association with the Catholic Church. But is there more that can be done in our business place with little or no monetary expenditure and a modicum of time committed? We ask each of our members to consider various ways they can become better messengers of Christ. We actively seek to stimulate the curiosity of our Catholic and non-Catholic business associates of the importance the Almighty plays in the operation of our respective business ventures. As evangelists, we have the opportunity to create in our businesses the very awareness we seek to achieve when attending Southside Catholic Business Professionals networking functions.

In what ways can we bring CHRIST into our businesses?

  • Acknowledge in your relationships the importance that God plays in your everyday life experiences.
  • Thank family, friends and associates for their great support in all your endeavors.
  • Pray that fellow members are discerning, compassionate and successful when resolving daily business issues.
  • Start meals, gatherings and business meetings acknowledging the importance our Creator in our daily lives.
  • Take time out to join with fellow employees and give thanks to God when that big order comes in or deal closes.
  • Place ethical business practice compliance on our corporate performance review agenda.
  • Pick up the phone or write a note consoling someone who is in pain, suffering a loss or facing adversity.
  • Perform small acts of humility and offer them up as praise to God.
  • Use postal stamps and or cards depicting some seasonal religious scene at Easter, Christmas, etc.
  • Show that you care for your employees by listening and providing personal guidance.
  • Acknowledge that Christ has blessed and guided you in your business operation.
