Indianapolis. My practice works primarily with individuals, but additionally with
couples and families. Integration of the beliefs of the Catholic
Church is an important part of my work with clients. Individuals do not need
to be Catholic to work with me; however, I have found that these truths to be
universal.
The clinical work that I do with people may occur for a long or short term
basis depending on the need and the situation. Psychological assessment is an
additional service that may be utilized to aid in case conceptualization,
diagnosing, and treatment planning for clients. I work collaboratively with individuals to discuss treatment options and how we can best work together.
I view people as being nuanced and unique which requires a level of depth
work that is not traditionally offered by some modalities of mental health
counseling. The treatment I offer attempts to get to the root of the problem rather than focusing exclusively on symptom reduction. This approach allows access to deeper issues that exist in one’s personality structure, as these areas are often the source of psychological symptoms and suffering. Treatment has a significant focus on understanding the inner and external conflicts that affect relationships with self, family, others, and spirituality.
